JEAN MONNET PAPERS
JEAN MONNET PAPERS publishes pre-print manuscript on the policymaking process and policy studies in Europe. The series is interdisciplinary in character and accepts papers in the fields of political science, international relations, European studies, sociology, law and similar. It publishes work of theoretical, conceptual as well as of empirical character and it also encourages submissions of policy-relevant analyses, including specific policy recommendations.
Jean Monnet papers are peer reviewed papers open to submissions to established scholars working in the field of policymaking process and policy studies as well as to PhD and MA students.
The Jean Monnet papers are part of The University of Ljubljana Centre of Excellence /DebatEU project and correspond to the research focus of the project.
Papers are available in electronic format only, are openly accessible and can be downloaded in PDF format from www.jmce-ljubljana.eu. Papers are widely circulated.
Submission
Manuscripts proposed for publication in the series should be sent electronically in Word-compatible format to the academic coordinator of DebatEU project Prof. Damjan Lajh: damjan.lajh@fdv.uni-lj.si.
Please note that all manuscripts must follow technical guidelines of the series.
Authors can expect to receive notification of the outcome of the review process within three months after submission.
All submitted papers undergo a double blind peer-review procedure organised by the Editorial Board of the Journal. The publication of a text can be rejected by the Editorial Board without any external reviewing if the text fails to comply with the minimum standards, technical guidelines or does not correspond to the scientific field covered by Jean Monnet papers. When extensive improvements are required by a reviewer, an improved text should be resubmitted by the author for the reviewer’s assessment. The author shall improve the text and resubmit the improved text to Jean Monnet papers editor within a month of the moment he or she was notified about the reviews.
